Set up MFA for your Vendor account

MFA is mandatory for all vendor accounts. It provides an additional layer of security by requiring a second verification step beyond your username and password. Each time you sign in, you will go through a 2-step login process.
Note: Keep your phone number and email address on your vendor account up to date. If either is outdated, you may not be able to receive your verification code. If you lose access to your account, you can use recovery codes as a last resort — see Get recovery codes .

Enable MFA

MFA is mandatory and enabled by default for all vendor accounts. No action is required to turn it on.

Sign in using SMS MFA (default)

SMS is the default MFA method for all vendor accounts.

  1. Go to https://connect.gg4l.com, enter your username and password, and click Sign In.
  2. (First-time sign-in only) When prompted, enter the phone number to use for MFA.
  3. Enter the verification code sent to your phone, then click Verify.
  4. (First-time sign-in only) Copy your recovery codes and save them in a secure location.
📘

Note: If SMS delivery fails, SchoolDay automatically sends the verification code to the email address on your vendor account instead.

Update phone number used for SMS MFA

If you change your phone number, update it on your vendor account to continue receiving verification codes. Since SMS is the default authentication factor, you will not be able to sign in if the registered number is no longer active.

  1. Go to My Profile.
  2. In the SMS section, click Edit.
  3. Enter your new phone number and click Continue. A verification code will be sent to the new number.
  4. Enter the verification code and click Verify.

Sign in using Email MFA

If SMS delivery fails, SchoolDay automatically sends your verification code to the email address on your vendor account. No setup is required.

  1. Go to connect.gg4l.com, enter your username and password, and click Sign In.
  2. Enter the verification code sent to your email, then click Verify.
📘

Note: Keep the email address on your vendor account up to date to ensure the fallback always works.

Too many failed attempts

After 3 incorrect verification code attempts, sign-in is temporarily blocked for 2 minutes. You can either wait and try again or restart the sign-in process.

Get recovery codes

If you lose access to your phone and cannot receive SMS or email verification codes, you can sign in using a one-time recovery code.
Important: Save your recovery codes in a secure, memorable place as soon as you receive them.

  1. Go to My Profile.
  2. Click Regenerate Recovery Codes.
  3. Copy your recovery codes and save them in a secure location.

Note: Using a recovery code immediately disables MFA on your account. You will need to reconfigure your MFA method the next time you sign in.
