Manage data sharing requests from a district
This guide teaches you how to approve and reject approval requests from a district.
When districts request an app, they are seeking to enhance their educational process by sharing data with you. In a district request, districts can ask for data masking or specific attributes and justify why they need the app. On the Home page, you can view the requests sent by a district, and you can also see the overall count of pending review requests on the Data Sync Consents tile.
Tip
To quickly see the whole list of new requests, under the Home page, sort the table by the New Requests column.
To resolve a district request for a specific district, do the following:
- On the Home , do one of the following:
- On a district with a new request, select the New request link.
- On the Data Sync Consents tile, click Show all consents. From the displayed list, select a request associated with a specific district with an Awaiting your review status.
- Verify the request. Data that the district intends to share with you is highlighted in green. If the district wishes to terminate the exchange of certain data with you, highlighted in red.
- Click Approve.
- (Optional) Type an additional message for a district.
- Click Approve
Once you approve a district's request, data sharing starts.
